Hair Tells the Tales

_{I figured that I would make a little set of headshots of Avalon since first joining the group haha. I needed a little bit of a timeline and just missed drawing my baby. So let's start detailing from left to right.

Blue Hair Sidecut
Avalon first joined the group with this style of hair and clothing. He had it buzzed only on his 'bad side' and dyed three shades of blue, the darkest being at the farthest tips. It was winter time so he wore lots of heavier clothing that still showed off his tattoos as best he could. He really loved his electric blue hair because it looked good and reminded him of his sister, which is why he dyed it that way before he left. (She has blue eyes). He made lots of friends with this hair, most remembering his odd appearance. He tried to find a job but to no avail. He also attended the festival with many of his friends. And then, he had to leave Pawsville for a family emergency, for his sister was very ill.

Red Long Hair
Avalon returned to Pawsville after having spent several months getting his sister and family back on their feet. He had not spent much time with his hair, letting it grow out and dyeing most of it light and dark red, leaving the very tips the electric blue that he loved so. It was a little less noticeable now, and less flattering of a cut, but none of that mattered for he returned to find that the strays had rebelled and the whole town was in havoc. He met up with several old friends, but others he couldn't find. It was a time of great distress for him and for the people he loved.

Uneven Red Hair
During the battle with the strays, Avalon was attacked often as he continued trying to search for people he knew and help anyone he came across. One of the fiercest attacks ended up with him nearly drowning in a fountain, and the stray being pulled off of him by a passerby, but taking a mouthful of his long hair with it. He maintained a deep cut on his cheek, and some scratches on his chest, as well as a deep gouge on his side. Several people helped him out so that he didn't suffer too badly, and was ready to go back out as soon as he could.

Makeshift Red Haircut
Realizing after the attack at the fountain that his long hair would be a hindrance, giving the dogs something else to get a grip on in either of their forms, he hacked it off. It was uneven and ugly but it kept out of his eyes and made him feel a bit better as he worked alongside the other humans to try and find peace in the hectic times. The deep cut on his cheek scarred over, and his two chest wounds and side wound were slowly closing up at this point. He maintained this haircut through to Pawsville's victory, choosing to help rebuild the center and tend to the injured, too worried about hurting the strays to join in the actual battle. Upon hearing of Pawsville ending up victorious and the strays' leader(s) vanishing, he celebrated with the rest of the town. He wanted to stay and help rebuild, but in the middle of constructing some of the pet center with other townsfolk (2 months after the battle), he got a call from his sister...saying she'd gotten a job offer concerning him. He jumped at the chance, and although brokenhearted about leaving Pawsville, he knew that if he got a job he could offer a dog a home at last, something he'd been wanting for so long...so this time he let his friends know he was leaving, and headed out to be interviewed and settle into a new job, promising to return.

He managed to get his hair under control, just a solid light red once trimmed down appropriately. The job being offered was an online therapist, for people who couldn't come into an office, or were too shy to speak face to face. It was finally something he could do with his degree, and he could help people while doing it without worrying about his appearance or age. He blew them away with his passion for it, and was hired immediately, needing to do some job training with them to learn the programs and values...This took him around a month, and he worked with them in a community place for another two months before earning the ability to choose his own place of work. He of course, chose to plant his roots in Pawsville, able to afford his own place now with the paychecks he was earning and the money he'd saved up. He chose a small house with an extra two rooms so that if he ever wanted to he could take in a dog or boarder, right near the pet center and park, but further out towards the farm than town. It was quaint and small and he finally got moved in...

Green Undercut
Six months after the attack, Avalon is back in Pawsville, employed as an online therapist, owning his own place, however small it is. He has made sure it has a large yard, and an open concept kitchen/dining area so he can entertain his friends. He chose green because cool colors needed to make a comeback in his hair, as well as green being the representative of rebirth, new life...his new job, his new home...He still likes getting his clothes from thrift stores, and he still is the same idiot and down to earth sweetheart, but now he has new purpose and new confidence. The scar on his cheek reminds him of the battle, what was lost, what was gained, and the new friends that he still remains close to. He hopes that now that his life is more stable, that he can look into finally getting a dog of his own...

His hair is dark green at the roots and light yellow-green at the tips. He's buzzed it in the back and on both sides this time around.

So that's about it for my big dumb baby~I hope you all continue to support him in the group because that just means the world to me
