Brief Summary of Character: Zephyrus is a pretty bird with a love for physical interaction. Top or bottom, fast or slow, Zeph lives for lovemaking. He isn't sure what to do in situations that aren't flirtatious or sexual though, and any sign of anything more intimate (for him intimate is romantic stuff) will send him on the run. He can be very defensive of his lifestyle, especially to those who have a significant other. He also doesn't like kids.

Style and Method of Roleplay Preferred: I prefer lit roleplays through notes or Skype. My Skype is enchanted-topaz, be sure to mention your dA name and the character you play in Happy-Tails when you send me a friend request to make things run smoothly. I will do script, but it is not my preferred style. I enjoy medium to long replies, but can be gone for long periods due to school and other commitments.

<sub>Nick: Came to Zeph's kissing booth and they snogged and made out in front of people. The usual~

Kobe: The guy first approached Zeph's kissing booth to get Minu, who he was in charge of. They clashed right off the bat, and Kobe pushed all the buttons that got Zeph huffy and upset, involving critiquing his kissing and then hitting on him. He blackmailed him with the threat of using Minu on him, and Zeph was desperate and hey, the guy wasn't bad looking, so he went to go bang him. However, when Kobe requested they be rough, Zeph seemed hesitant. He didn't want to hurt him...Kana showed up and Zeph told him to go away, that he could handle it. Then Kobe gave him an aphrodisiac. While Zeph willingly agreed to drink it, he did not realize it was an aphrodisiac. So they banged and then Kobe started bringing up Kana, which pissed Zeph off to the point that he stormed out.
:bullewhite: Kobe came and sought him out a few days after this event, and confessed he had essentially been sold as a sex toy/slave. Zeph told him there was nothing he could do about that and said he should go to the police and talk to a therapist. While concerned, he said that was the past and Kobe could define his own future.
Kobe seemed determined to befriend him, buying him coffee, taking him and Kana to the mall. They talked quite a bit, and Zeph isn't too sure where they stand right now. Honestly, he doesn't NOT enjoy the time they spend together, but he also is still in unfamiliar territory. However, he has agreed happily to model for him, as Kobe revealed he's a fashion designer, or at least one studying to be one. He looks forward to more 'friends with benefits' activities with him.
Zeph and Kobe have had quite a bit of conflict, using the drugs again to have sex, only to have Zeph reveal that they clouded his mind and made him more uncontrolled and he didn't feel comfortable with that. They thought they'd worked something out, but Zeph has been having a lot of issues. With Kobe pressing him to try dating someone and calling him out on being a heartbreaker, the bird got upset and defensive. He felt horrible afterwards, thinking he'd scared Kobe, and flew away entirely. The 'fear' listing here is not fear of Kobe, but fear of hurting him and of Kobe speaking the truth.
He really isn't sure what's going on with their relationship. Kobe still wants to be around him and have sex but now he's bringing up therapists and asked him over and over to try dating or friend stuff and Zeph finally caved and said he'd spend Friday with Kobe doing what Kobe wanted, although it was really only to get the kid off his back and make up for scaring him. Now the kid has admitted to having a huge crush on him and Zeph really is uncomfortable because there's no way he'll love him back, no way he'll love anyone back.
Zeph isn't really attracted to him anymore. Kobe said he'd liked him and now says he's over it. He's also talked a LOT about screwing Cai. This doesn't make Zeph jealous in any way, but now that he knows how horrible some people in Pawsville can be, he's really hesitant for Cai to get involved. He's currently doing the 'friday' thing with Kobe, but he isn't really sure what's expected of him.
Out and about with him and Cai only made him distrust him more. He doesn't want anything to do with him, and he DEFINITELY doesn't want him to be around Caicius.
Had a big talk with him and Atticus, then parted ways. He'll be there if the kid needs him but other than that he doesn't want any sort of interaction. Warned him off Cai and Bori and Kam.
Well, they hooked back up, not too surprising. They did a few nights of drinking, and he took a drunk Kobe to the pet center to let him rest, and Kana totally blew up at him, accusing Zeph of not knowing anything about his feelings. He still took care of Kobe. Now he's having a threesome with him and Atticus, and he can't help thinking how similar Kobe and Atticus are. (c) Ashtic

Sugar: The kid came into a bar, being underage, and got alcohol. Zeph had been there getting tipsy with Kana being all sober, and pointed out the youth probably shouldn't be there. He also couldn't tell what gender Sugar was, so sue him, the kid was in a midriff top and thigh high boots. Plus, look at him. Add to that the fact Zeph was a bit buzzed. Regardless, the kid stormed out so Zeph followed and they got into a fight. He honestly couldn't give two shits if he ever met the cat again.
They met again and partied mostly because Zeph didn't really remember him. They had a big talk about how Zeph shouldn't abandon his sex life just because some people view it negatively. He doesn't really remember much about it, and he isn't sure how he feels about the cat right now. (c) HopsfyPoppySeed

Atticus: Zeph met the guy at the part while he was feeding the birds and then offered to get Zeph food. The bird figured why the hell not? A free meal was a free meal, so he is headed out to get some grub with Atticus.
They talked for quite a bit, and Zeph actually found himself engaging in conversation with him, and enjoying it. Atticus offered him a challenge, that Atty would try to romance him and get him to want Atticus and only Atticus, without restraining him from sleeping with others, but in an attempt to teach him he could fall in love. Zeph warned him multiple times he wouldn't, but that the man was welcome to try it. They went back to Atticus' place and had a round of AMAZING sex, but even though Atty sleepily asked the bird to stay, Zeph left. However, he did leave a note, which is more than usual.
A lot has happened with these two. Zeph got really moody when Kana was invited along with him and Zeph to the club, but he came in when they were both attacked by a patron and beat the shit out of the offender. That evening he and Atty got into a pretty big fight which included questioning Zeph's ideals and rules and opposing views, along with possible developing feelings from Atticus. The fight ended when Atticus and Zeph had a night of rough fucking, in which Zeph got so worn out he slept the night there. He woke up in a panic, which was only made worse by the appearance of Marie, Atty's agent or something, who said that a paper had been released about their relationship, and mentioned how Atty must just be using Zeph or Zeph must be using the actor, or maybe Atty was going for Kana all along. She was rightfully pissed, calling Zeph a whore. Atticus stood up for him and headed out to try to fix things. Zeph confronted Marie saying that he wanted to help get both Atticus and Kanaloa out of the papers, neither deserved that, and that he didn't care what she called him because it was probably true. She told him that she would take care of it, that he should die, and that Atticus loved him. This naturally rattled him but he didn't show it, spitting back that suicide had always been an option for him, and that he was really only sticking around for Cai now. But he did thank her for taking care of Kana and Atty. He cleaned the apartment and then left, choosing to stay abstinent for several days.
He really isn't sure what's going on. they ran into each other a few weeks later and the man was drunk and Zeph tried to send him home with Kana to watch over him and Atty just ran back to the shelter and tried to screw him but Zeph pushed him off, saying he didn't do it with drunk people. Now they've met even more time later at a bar and Atty still seems determined to carry on with their 'relationship' despite Zeph not wanting to hurt the man and Marie disapproving.
He felt cornered last time they met and tried to protect Atty only to have it blow up in his face. So now he just tries to avoid him, since Atticus said it was over and he wouldn't have to see him anymore. 
They met again at a party. He is feeling so conflicted now between Atticus and Marie that he no longer really enjoys their time together. He's not sure what is wanted of him anymore, and it bothers him. He just wanted a no strings attached screwing, and when it got deep be tried to back away, saying that it would be best to cut things off rather than lead Atticus on. Instead, Atticus keeps seeking him out and making him feel like he HAS to screw with him. Zephyrus doesn't like this, it's not fun, and Atticus is rougher and rougher and not really listening to him. He's just trying, in his own way, to look out for the man.
Well they've met a few times now. Zeph saved Atticus from getting raped and beaten up. Atticus and Zeph had sex in a closet when Zeph broke down after an abstinent several weeks and wanted a fuck after being roofied. It didn't really go how either of them wanted, to be honest, and now they're sitting during the next day having a talk in Atty's apartment, where Zeph is frustrated with Atty's seeming inability to comprehend that Zeph doesn't want a tool, he wants another person who just wants to fuck and isn't talking about feelings and love, but still has that caring for their sex partner. It's a balance he's trying his hardest to explain. They've thrown talking out the window currently and Atty put Zeph in some feminine lingerie. Didn't faze the bird at all, after all, it's not the first time ~
:bulletwhite; Had a long talk with him and Kobe. Atticus seems to want to try again but he's not sure at what. Atticus seemed to not hear most of what he said and repeated a lot of stuff that Zeph HAD said. So Zeph is giving him time and space to process.
And they're back to screwing. On a pretty regular basis, despite Atticus now being 'mates' with some rabbit named Khy. Zeph isn't totally sold on that, and he's not really sure what to do, other than whatever makes Atticus happy. Currently engaged in a threesome with him and Kobe. (c) HopsfyPoppySeed

Minu: Zeph met the kid at a party and after he got roofied, he kept Minu from being raped. However, he hates kids. So while he doesn't want anything bad to happen to Minu, the kid pushing to be his friend is pushing him to the point of avoiding the cat at all costs. He really gets pissed off around him and doesn't want to be his friend EVER.
He continues to have a negative relationship with Minu, as the kid came by his kissing booth and while he didn't pester him to be a friend, he was, in Zeph's eyes, still a nuisance. (c) Ashtic

Caicius: Zeph's twin brother, younger by a few hours. They started out really not liking one another, then during the upset and the move to Pawsville they grew closer. Now they have friendly, stupid competitions over everything and share their loose lifestyles. He loves Cai a lot and would do almost anything for him. He takes his side most of the time.  They are currently being fostered together and he feels like they aren't getting as much time together.
Cai seems very off and upset after the incident with Duce not working out. He also seems a lot closer to Kana, and Kana doesn't seem as 'off' around him. Zeph isn't sure why this makes him frustrated, but it does. Additionally, due to so many negative experiences in the town now, he's worried about Cai going out and sleeping around, because it ended so badly for Zeph.
He apologized to Cai immensely and broke down about a lot. They're working on some brotherly bonding with one another as well as with Boreas. He has gotten very protective about Cai sleeping around in town, and especially protective when it comes to their trip with Kobe. He made it clear he didn't want the two anywhere near each other. He loves Cai immensely and would pretty much do anything for him within reason.
He honestly is so pissed at Cai right now he doesn't know what to do. Caicius claimed to have slept with Kana, talking about how loud he was, called him a slut, and Zeph blew up at him, this resulted in a huge fight between the two of them. Although their fight has been put on hold for the disaster that has struck Pawsville, things are definitely not okay between them. (c) eto-tan

Kanaloa: Zeph initially encountered Kana by pointing him out to be a challenge against Cai, whichever one could get the fish to sleep with them on the first day they were at the shelter. Seeing Kana completely unaffected earned Zeph's respect and he now considers the quiet fish his friend. If anyone hurts him...beware the rage of a frenzied cockatiel.
Zeph is currently in a foster home with Duce and wasn't able to tell Kana before he and Cai left with the young man. When he returned the fish was rather concerned, but after being told he shrugged it off. He didn't seem to care about whether he had an owner or not, and he didn't seem to treat Zeph any differently.
Zeph and Kam fell into a frozen lake while talking on it, and Kana leapt in to save them. He managed to get Kam out but before he could come back for Zeph, Alexx beat him to the punch. Still, the fish stayed with them both, and this absolute caring has led him to become one of Zeph's dearest friends. Despite this, Kana still has not spoken to him.
Zeph's been having some issues lately, and it's caused him to grow extremely protective of Kana. He doesn't like others messing with him and don't you dare bring him up sexually or he will pound you into the ground.
Zeph really is having a hard time understanding his friend now. They still do stuff together, but Kana seems more and more removed from it all. It's rubbing the bird all the wrong ways and he's really trying to get under Kana's skin to figure out what is going on and what he can do to make it better. But at the same time, he's wrestling with other things as well.
He really doesn't understand what's going on and he's become extremely protective of the fish. There's a rift growing in between them and he's not sure how to fix it. In his time of upheaval he really was hoping to have his friend to lean on, but it looks like Kana is judging him just as hard as everyone else.
He tried to reconnect with Kana, as suggested by Tuesday, and it seemed to be going very well. They got to hang out, they got to talk in their own way, and he felt safe with him. But then they ran into Atticus again and now Kana seems angry and distant. Zeph wishes that he would talk to him, like he seems to do to almost everyone else.
Zephyrus isn't sure what is going on anymore with everything with Kana. He apologized to him when he apologized to Cai and hasn't been dragging him out anywhere with him lately, thinking the fish would appreciate that. Yet their relationship still seems on edge. And now Cai and Kana are apparently bosom buddies and that rubs him wrong a little because he should be close to them as well, yet he often feels left out. Some people have brought up Kana in other conversations and he always shuts them down right away. Sometimes even talking down about the fish to derail the topic.
Zeph and Kana blew up at each other, or as 'blowing up' as Kana can get with Zeph, and now they aren't on speaking terms. Zeph finds himself feeling pretty lost with this whole thing, and he still doesn't see what he's doing or did wrong. Although they're working together for the tornado survival, he still feels a rift between them. (c) EnchantedAdopts

Yamato: Zeph has slept with Yamato several times now and he truly enjoys his sexual encounters with the feline. Yama is definitely one of his 'go-to' friends with benefits.
Zeph and Yama continue to sleep together, but Yama has done some things that have seemed more romantic than merely two dudes fucking, and this has made Zeph unsure of where their relationship actually stands.
He went to Yama after getting drugged with Kobe and the cat helped him out, even letting him sleep in a spare bed. This did break one of Zeph's rules about never sleeping over, but because he was drugged he couldn't bring himself to care. He's very grateful to Yama for the concern the cat has displayed, and he may even consider him more of a friend than just a casual fuck now.
Zeph feels pretty safe calling Yamato a friend now. Yama has been there, not pushed feelings on him, listened to him, cared for him, they've switched back and forth, they've never crossed the lines, they've never had drama. Zeph feels safe being with him and looks forward to all their meetings. He's called off any sort of sexual activity, and is actually just focusing on the two of them being friends now. Which is kind of a big first for him, as most fuck buddies just stay that and only that. Yama had Kam help him make little collar-like chokers with pawprint charms on them, and gave one to Zeph as a friendship thing. Zeph is starting to think he needs to hop on this jewelry train and get a friendship necklace for Yama and Kam too!
Zeph isn't really attracted to Yama anymore in the sense that he'd fuck him, but he's found his heart to be very big and welcoming. He actually has spent the night a few times and considers him a good friend. They've played video games and watched movies and talked quite a bit. They're fast friends now, best bros forever, and he believes Yama when the cat tells him that he'll be there for him. They've advanced pretty far in their relationship now.
Well, Zeph's attraction to Yama is back, perhaps even strengthened by their time together. They hang out, and he would certainly consider the man his best friend, but at the same time, he definitely enjoys screwing with him. He feels safe with him and like they don't have to worry about other people, that it's just them two. (c) Demonic-Oreo

Tuesday: 'Red' and Zeph almost slept together before Zeph realized the guy was at least mostly a virgin. That wasn't something he wanted to take from Tuesday, so he backed off. Now they're in a weird, somewhat awkward association with one another.
He ran into Tuesday again with Kana and they got to talk a bit. He finds himself actually mildly curious about the bird, which is scary for him because he doesn't invest in these...feelings.
Tuesday and him ran into one another at the shelter, and even though they're showering together, it's not sexual...they're actually just...talking. And Zeph feels safe enough to open up about how weird Kana has been acting and how he's feeling really unsure about Levi adopting Kamui.
He's gotten protective of 'red' and he looks out for him. Tuesday brought up suicide and Zeph talked him down from it, mentioning that Tuesday reminded him a lot of himself when he was younger, 'young, beautiful, sexual...and suicidal'. This, other than spitting at Marie after all her death wishes upon him that it wouldn't be the first time he'd considered it, is the only other window so far into the fact that Zeph, at one point, was suicidal. Kallinos: Zeph doesn't really have an opinion on him yet although he did take offense a bit to Kallinos' opinion of his lifestyle. (c) ZydrateAddicted

Alexx: Zeph met the boy who was introduced as Yama's younger 'brother'. He originally flirted with him before realizing his age and now he's backed off entirely. He holds mild interest in him because of him running the bakery alone, and has recommended that he get help in it.
Although he respects the guy for saving his life, and for helping get him and Kam to the hospital, Zeph still feels uneasy around him. He doesn't consider him a friend and the physical interactions with Alexx, from CPR to a gentle kiss on the forehead, have left him feeling snappy and bristly around the kid.

Kamui: Zeph met the dog out in town when Kana met him, and left them to wander around alone. He flirted, the dog expressed disinterest, so he has backed off. He appreciates the dog taking care of Kana, and thinks that the pup might want something more from the fish, and isn't sure how he feels about that. But overall he does enjoy Kam's company, and he tries to look out for him like a good friend would. He may get a bit frustrated with his crybaby nature, and his reversion to childish speech, but overall he enjoys knowing him. Kam got him a necklace with a little angel wing on it from the festival, which he thinks was really sweet.
Kam has taken to referring to him as 'big brother' and while he isn't quite sure what to make of that, he really does see the kid as much younger than him, despite there only being a three year age difference. So he's getting used to being another 'big brother' but hasn't broken the news to Cai yet. He's taken Kam under his wing and is pretty much vowing not to flirt with him or get into a relationship with him...and it's weird for him because he doesn't normally do 'just friendships'.
Kam had run off at the kissing booth, Zeph went after him and they fell into the icy lake. To the bird, it's fun to fluster the kid, and apparently the pup thinks he's attractive but calls him older brother? He's not too sure what's up with that. It's also becoming intensely clear to him that the dog has something going on that's more than just being acquaintances with Kana and he's not sure how to react to that. He's used to being the one that people fall for, after all...all these new dynamics are really causing him to rethink his values.
They had quite a showdown going on. Mostly Zeph being a colossal asshole because of his own issues and taking them out on Kamui, but he also presented some strong, honest points about the dog and how he handled himself and his problems. The fight caused quite a rift between them, but forgiving one another and clearing the air at the end of it brought them closer together. Although he doesn't really know how to act around the kid, Zeph is starting to actually try to be a better friend.
He has started being more open with the kid and even treating him less like a stranger and more like a friend. He knows he just got a partner, but he isn't too keen on that. In his eyes, Kam is a child and the idea of him and this Levi guy doing stuff together is really freaking him out because he doesn't do child-adult stuff. Even though Kam's age isn't a child, he acts so much like one that Zeph is extremely protective of him.
He's finally acknowledged the fact that he's friends with the kid. And more than that, he sees the pup as an adoptive little brother. It's taken months of work, but he's finally realized this and it's clicked that the reason he doesn't like Levi is that he's just really protective of Kam, the same way he's protective of Cai. While it's a strange realization to have, and a bit unsettling for him at first, he's really come to terms with it and goes to visit the pup at the fire station often.  Made sure that he wouldn't be lonely anymore by talking with Levi.
This isn't to say that he has a negative view of Kam, more that he just associates a bit of negative feelings. After all, Kam is still able to talk to Kana, and Kana listens to Kam, and they're close. He also worries about Kam a lot, being so childish and the issues he's having with his new home. Levi: Kam's new partner. Zeph really doesn't trust him nor does he like him, but he's trying to put up with him for Kamui's sake.
Talked to him about not letting Kam be so lonely, the man seemed to listen and take his words to heart so he's a little more tolerant of him now. (c) Alpha-Chesh

Augustus: Zeph met the horse at his kissing booth and the two are flirting it up with one another. Once he found out Augustus was a virgin he stopped trying to sleep with him, which involved a complete meltdown on Augustus' part. Now Zeph isn't really sure what to do, and is getting very frustrated with the fact that Augustus is complaining about everything but doing nothing to change what he doesn't like. They fought a bit and he really doesn't care to meet the horse ever again, not unless he stops self-pitying and starts taking steps forward. (c) MosImagination

Rion: Zeph met Rion at his kissing booth and got his consent to kiss his lips, which was Rion's first kiss. Now Rion is freaking out a bit and Zeph doesn't really see how it's his problem. Rion made what Zeph interpreted as a a judgment of Zeph's lifestyle and he took offense to it, not really caring to run into the dog again. (c) XoXoCandie

Duce: Currently fostering Cai and Zeph. Zeph has no opinion on him and no real respect for him.
He and Duce had a talk about sex, specifically homosexual male-male sex. He found out the kid was a virgin and didn't judge him for it but has also now made the decision to not pursue him. After all, Zeph doesn't do virgins.
The foster thing didn't work out, but he holds no bad feelings for Duce. After all, he and Cai were the ones that made the choice to leave. (c) Nu-Wan</sub>
